APLH Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (RQF)
Objective
The objective of the qualification is to develop your understanding of the licensing objectives and the legal and social role and responsibilities of a personal licence holder. It will confirm occupational competence and the ability to meet ‘licence to practise’ requirements.
You will develop an understanding of the main legislation requirements of the Licensing Act (2003).
Intended audience
• For people who work in, or want to work in, the licensed retail sector
• Is a prerequisite for anyone who wants to apply for a personal licence under the Licensing Act 2003 (England and Wales)
Structure
This qualification contains 1 mandatory unit with a Total Qualification Time (TQT) of 10 hours.
You must complete all assessments successfully within the registration period to achieve the qualification. The maximum period to achieve this qualification, including any referrals is 4 weeks.
Entry requirements
You must be at least 18 years old on the first day of the training.
Re-qualification requirements
We recommend you refresh this training every 3 years.
